Interesting because for me, the Internet was always filled with n00bs, but I guess at one point it was all seasoned professionals.

Yeah, same, I didn’t really start regularly using the internet until 97/98, the AIM days, though we had it a bit earlier than that. So by then it was already eternal September.
That said, I think we need some other name for when Facebook opened up access to any email address, because I think that was the final nail in the coffin. 2008 or so.

I was looking for a text converter and all the ones I found were paid (plus pretty cringggg), but way down in the comments on Reddit somebody posted the app they created which worked fantastically.
