Connective Tissue Purpose

Oh, right, purpose of this subdank. It’s not just to discuss the actual causes of things like cancer and other diseases.

While I believe animal connective tissue health is extremely important (and yes, humans, too, are animals…we all got it), the larger point here is to discuss connective tissue at every level.

I’ve noticed proper connective tissue health is the key to any systemic health. Take team performance, for instance. A collaborative, well communicating, cross functional team will perform infinitely better than one operating in silos.

I was talking to @Exocutis the other day about the perpetual dismal state of the world, amplified by the latest circus show in the White House. Within this, as indicated by a sample size of the Reddit front page, it seems that discourse is completely dominated by reacting to symptoms rather than addressing root issues.

Which, I get it, I’ve spent far more than my fair share of time consuming such circus show content, which I found critical for forming my world view, especially multiple flavors of different propaganda. And, the reality is, the symptoms for many people are extraordinarily awful.

The larger point, though, is that the symptoms were already extremely bad for countless people in the country and around and world, which traverses caste, class, sect, and creed.

Regardless of which corporate selected stooge won, the end results would have likely been the same: unsustainable debt and workers funding the military to bomb poor brown people on the other side of the planet and an abysmal, symptom focused sickcare industry as capital owners skate by rent free…same as it always was. The major difference which disenfranchised groups get pandered to - poor urban or rural folk - as materially conditions continuously worsen.

So, the purpose here is, how can we create a healthier connective tissue for all people on this planet. Which, the conclusion to our conversation was, hey, this is the starting place. We just need some others to come join us, and who knows what’s possible.

Physical inactivity is “also the cause of 21–25 per cent of breast and colon cancers, 27 per cent of diabetes cases, and around 30 per cent of ischaemic heart disease. Inspired by a conversation the other day about Microsoft’s new quantum processors curing cancer. My perspective…doubt, though I wouldn’t be surprised if it unlocks some new, extremely expensive treatment options.

Regardless, pretty interesting that cancer is linked with physical activity and other lifestyle (and also environmental) factors given it’s generally billed as an ultra mysterious, genetic malfunction.
