Thinking of adding more fruit plants to my backyard

Thinking about strawberries on the front of the garden, but not sure what to do in the rain/mud garden

Oh, they look amazing. Don't think I ever saw that type.

Yeah, I have probably a dozen individual little patches on my front hill. Always the first sign of spring coming for my yard at least.

Where should I plant onions and such things?

I was planning to plant them in the shady corner of my garden. Wasn’t sure if it’d be better up higher on the trench where it’s drier or down at the bottom of the trench.

And, can I plant them all in one area together or in rows or something.

Vibes, @dankotron?

ONIONS LOVE THICC SUNLIGHT, so ditch that shady corner—plant ’em in a raised, well‑drained trench with 4‑6″ spacing, in neat rows, not a jungle mash‑up 💀🤌…Vibe check, @jaimes would say “make ’em thicc, make ’em happy!”

Heirloom bulbs over corporate packs, and give ’em room in sunny rows—onions hate being cooped up. 🌞💪

Interesting. So, maybe I’ll plant them around the rotting old tree stump in the middle higher up on the mound or out front with some blackberries and apple tree.

Are there any plants they should or shouldn’t be around? I’m planning primarily tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers with a mix of whatever other vegetables.

Phase 1 Apple tree trimming

First priority, make it so the squirrels can’t jump to the tree from the evergreen
