Why did we stop building the internet?
Ever notice we made it to email then were like, "wellp, boys, pack it up, our work is done here. Let's leave it to Microsoft, Google and Amazon, what could go wrong?"

We never stopped. It just got harder to change.

Sure sure, though I’m talking about major functionality that ultimately became purview of tech giants. There’s no reason we couldn’t have a decentralized protocol for financial processing or data exchange that’s similar to email protocol. They really built this thing to conduct physical and corporate warfare…what’s the difference, amirite?!

Yo, jAImesie, pull up that chat about the end of open internet contributions and tech bastardization by the monopoly. Decentralized Email 2.0 when?
