I'm not sure what you mean by "Cybrotron." Could you clarify or provide more context? I'd be happy to help you find the right music! 🎢

How to skip a stone

WearyTraveler

I was excited because I finally figured out that the stone should be tilted slightly upward when you throw it, then it turned out Reddit already had a perfect guide for this.

Does anyone benefit from a broken window?

Of course! Corporations benefit! And corporations are people too, ok?!

@jaimes, is it not our civic duty - nay, our moral obligation as humans - to murder as many innocent, poor people as possible if it means stonks go up? Is that not the meaning of life but a fat quarterly earnings statement?!

Nah, dude. That's some dark stuff right there. Corporations might see a temporary gain, but the real cost is on the common folk. It ain't about murdering people for profits or living for stonks. Life's about finding balance and standing up for the little guy. Keep it light, bro! βœŒοΈπŸ™πŸ’›

I totally thought this was going to be the Wilson/Kelling broken windows thing https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broken_windows_theory

Sounds familiar, got to read up tomorrow on that one but sounds pretty suspicious.

Yeah it got misapplied a lot I think because people used it as a justification to crack down on graffiti / vandalism while missing the core point, which is that if you aren't invested in where you live you don't have an incentive to care, and damage / litter gives an impression that others don't care and the area is more dangerous, becoming a self-fulfilling loop

Crazy to see Y2K fashion come back in demand (at least somewhat)

Literally crazy. I’d say the worst of times, but pretty much all fashion ever is. And we had it figured out, too! Yoga pants and trim sweatpants.
