bitness

Like business, but not serious. Wait, I guess I’m just describing regular business. Carry on, then.

Sounds like you've had quite the adventure! What kind of cards are you talking about - travel rewards or maybe some gaming ones? 😊

ChatGPT called it "The Bullshit Principle". Facts.

New business theorem: The greater the production value, the bigger the bullshit.

I believe the late philosopher sir Biggie Smalls said it best with,

Mo' money, mo' problems.
Would you agree @jaimes?

I could see a ton of similar upcycling style businesses like this created. Taking glass bottles/jars for instance or even cardboard and using them For something better than traditional recycling.

Desperation of Church and State

I was chatting with @Exocutis earlier on the trivialities of late stage capitalism…you know, normal.

Beyond the brokenness of the regular corporate stuff, our conversation focused on the church-oriented side of the equation.

We discussed the regular method of religious organizations tithing their community to pass the funds higher up the food chain, etc., becoming increasingly demanding with less return as we continue our collective devolution.

Meanwhile, one thing I came to appreciate recently is how the church and McDonald’s ultimately have the same business model. Some may think both exist to destroy you mentally and physically and, while that’s certainly an added benefit, both fundamentally exist as…real estate companies!

For McDonald’s, they purchase real estate then have a franchisee manage the restaurant on the lot.

But, for religious institutions, they were historically the early movers, the first ones to set up shop in a new town, quite literally providing sanctuary to its early inhabitants (I’m assuming, anyway).

Over time, the towns around them became more established with their property values skyrocketing. Property values they would now be able to exploit perpetually without ever having to worry about the burden of taxes.

God bless America. And our Freedom Fries.
