Nice list!

Metal Gear Solid reminded me that Syphon Filter for the PlayStation was fucking awesome.

I never got deep into the later Zelda games, I think I played Wind Waker a bit but don’t remember.

Also reminded me that the Crash Bandicoot series was solid. And can’t forget about Sonic!

Oh man Syphon Filter is still on my list to check out! Wind Waker held up really well, that was the one with cel-shaded graphics and sailing, I spent a lot of time hammering Gameshark codes into that one, you could get into the dev test rooms and run around. Crash rules, the Sonic games seem to go 1 great -> 1 bad -> 1 insane -> repeat, like when they gave Shadow the Hedgehog a gun and let him drive over soldiers.

You like dem pew pews. Which made me remember, Time Splitter 2 for GameCube is definitely on my at least honorable mention.

I never played half life, maybe my greatest life regret.

And I totally overlooked Super Mario Bros 3, that deserves to be on there as well. The first one is also timeless. Could do without the second…that’s when things got weird.

TimeSplitters 2 is solid - also a few years ago someone found the entire game of TS2 inside Homefront: The Revolution so you could play it on PC natively (and Homefront used to go on sale for less than $5), super sick.
