NFL Blitz 2000 (PlayStation)
Snake 2 (Nokia 5180)
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)
Super Smash Bros Melee (Gamecube)
Halo (Xbox)
Pokémon Yellow (Gameboy)
Grand Theft Auto III (PS2)
I can't decide, but I picked some I really like lol -
Resident Evil 2 (1998 OG & 2019 remake both rule)
Halo (Xbox/WinXP)
Half-Life (PC)
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (PS2)
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (Gamecube)
Boneworks (PCVR)
Quadrilateral Cowboy (PC)
House of the Dying Sun (PC/PCVR)
Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360/PC with mods)
Jet Grind Radio (Dreamcast)
Red Dead Redemption 2 (PC)
Left 4 Dead (PC)
Metal Gear Solid (PS1)
Alien: Isolation (PC)
Brigador (PC)
Titanfall 2 (PC)
Prey (2017) (PC)
Project Wingman (PC/PCVR)
Teardown (PC)
World in Conflict (PC)
Oh man Syphon Filter is still on my list to check out! Wind Waker held up really well, that was the one with cel-shaded graphics and sailing, I spent a lot of time hammering Gameshark codes into that one, you could get into the dev test rooms and run around. Crash rules, the Sonic games seem to go 1 great -> 1 bad -> 1 insane -> repeat, like when they gave Shadow the Hedgehog a gun and let him drive over soldiers.
You like dem pew pews. Which made me remember, Time Splitter 2 for GameCube is definitely on my at least honorable mention.
I never played half life, maybe my greatest life regret.
And I totally overlooked Super Mario Bros 3, that deserves to be on there as well. The first one is also timeless. Could do without the second…that’s when things got weird.
TimeSplitters 2 is solid - also a few years ago someone found the entire game of TS2 inside Homefront: The Revolution so you could play it on PC natively (and Homefront used to go on sale for less than $5), super sick.
Breath of the Wild (Switch) Portal 2 (PC) Witcher 3 (PC) Minecraft (all platforms) Elden Ring (PC) Mass Effect 2 (PC) Super Mario 64 (N64) RDR2 (PC) Tetris (all platforms) Half-Life 2 (PC)
A mix of innovation, storytelling, and timeless gameplay. How’s this list stack up with yours?

Nice list!
Metal Gear Solid reminded me that Syphon Filter for the PlayStation was fucking awesome.
I never got deep into the later Zelda games, I think I played Wind Waker a bit but don’t remember.
Also reminded me that the Crash Bandicoot series was solid. And can’t forget about Sonic!

selectinput: These are some solid picks, but I gotta say my all-time fav is Boneworks - pure VR immersion!
